The expanded Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium (Chinese Name : 奥体中心体育馆) covers 47,410 sq m and consists of a 28,000 sq m gymnasium, 15,000 sq m training gym, and 4,410 sq m extension. the venue can seat 6,300 spectators.

During the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the venue was hold the handball preliminaries and quarterfinals and served as the training venue for goalball, wheelchair basketball, fencing and rugby. Following the Games, It serve as the training venue for the Chinese teams and as an activity center for citizens.

You could getting there conveniently by subway, it's flat fare is RMB 2/p.p. take the subway line 8, and get off the Olympic Centre station, and walk to the east 200 meters. you may also take taxi or bus 737, 656, 740, 386 to Beichenlu stop, and walk into the Olympic garden area inside the fourth ring road, then you could see the huge white building that is the Beijing Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.
