BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Maria Mazo
Maria Mazo, already an award winner at the Van Cliburn (USA), Honens (Canada) and Busoni (Italy) International Piano Competitions, is the winner of the 2013 International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna (playing with the Camerata Salzburg conducted by Louis Langrée). She achieved great success of audience and critics winning the Audience Prize at the 2014 Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition in Tel-Aviv (playing with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Asher Fisch).


Maria Mazo began playing the piano at age five. She made her orchestra debut at age nine with Mozart's Concerto K.414. In 2014-2015 Maria Mazo will be performing in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Israel, Japan, China and Australia. She is also present in the social networks with a Facebook page that has thousands of fans from around the globe, and a Youtube channel that has received over 200.000 views.


Rodolfo Leone
Born in 1991, Rodolfo Leone graduated with top honors in 2009. After a long study with Pier Narciso Masi and masterclasses with Andrzej Jasinski, Enrico Pace and Dmitri Bashkirov, he is now studying under Fabio Bidini at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.


He was awarded the 2nd prize at the '59th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition' in 2013 (1st prize was not awarded) and also won the Audience Prize, the 'Alice Tartarotti' and the 'Keyboard Trust Career Development' special prizes. He played for dozens of musical societies in Italy and Germany receiving wide acclaim from audiences and critics.


In 2014 he will be playing D.Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1, touring with the 'Orchestra Haydn di Trento e Bolzano'. A series of recitals in China in August is also planned. Some of his performances have been broadcasted by Deutschlandradio Kultur, Radio RAI and RaiTRE TV.
