BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Guide by the founding mission to “Awaken and uplift the human spirit, both for audiences and artists”, Richmond Ballet has remained dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and continuing evolution of the art form of ballet. Under the leadership of Miss Stoner Winslett, Richmond Ballet boats an expansive repertory that include full-lenth classic as well as 60 original works from 20 choreographerss from all of the world.

Richmond Ballet made its international debut named “Made in the USA” at London Royal Opera theatre. “Made in the USA” is include “Valse Fantaisie” choreography by George Balanchine , “After Eden”, choreography by John Butler, “Swipe” choreography by Val Caniparoli, those works are from world ballet masters of local America, and also, “Lift The Fallen” choreography by Ma Cong, who is the Chinese-American choreographer, is selected to be with masters’ works to show “Classic and Innovation” of American style.
