Beijing Comedy Theatre (Chinese Name: 北京喜剧院) is the first professional theatre in China with comedy as its core positioning. It officially opened on July 16, 2015.

The theatre is located on the Oriental Theater on the south side of the East Second Ring Road of Dongsishitiao briage in Beijing. It is located in the golden area of Beijing. It is very convenient for transportation such as subway, bus and self-driving. The theater stage area is 432 square meters, and the two-story building has a total of 1,186 seats, which can be competent for international first-class stage performances.

The National Grand Theatre(NCPA) is responsible for the management and operation of the Beijing Comedy Theatre. In the future, it will serve as the "fifth theatre" of the Grand Theatre. Together with the current National Grand Theatre's opera house, concert hall, drama theatre and small theatre, it will form the "theatre group" of the National Grand Theatre, which also further enriches and expands the performing arts functions of the Grand Theatre.

You may also getting there conveniently by subway, take the subway line 2, and get off Dongsishitiao station exit D, then walk to the south 300 meters.
